This lecture will review management of complications associated with dentoalveolar surgery including dry socket, postoperative pain, fractured roots, displaced roots, sinus exposure, infections, difficulty obtaining profound mandibular local anesthesia and more.
Learning Objectives:
Upon completion, participants will be able to better manage procedural complications such as unable to obtain profound mandibular local anesthesia, fractured roots, displaced tooth/roots.
Upon completion, participants will be able to better manage complications such as antral communication, tuberosity fracture, bleeding, foreign body, broken instrument.
Upon completion, participants will be able to better manage complications such as non-healing extraction site, sharp alveolar bone, infections, surgical emphysema and paresthesia.
