Dr. Marc Leffler practiced as a Board-Certified oral and maxillofacial surgeon, and a dental anesthesiologist, having received his dental degree from Columbia University and having completed residency training in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, including Anesthesia, at Bellevue Hospital Center/New York University Medical Center. He practiced oral surgery in office and academic settings, and supervised the training of residents and dental students in out-patient general anesthesia, orthognathic surgery, dentoalveolar surgery, and emergency management of medically compromised patients.
Dr. Leffler then received his law degree from New York Law School, where he was a member and editor of the Law Review. He practiced trial law for more than 2 decades in New York and Connecticut, representing dentists and dental specialists in malpractice litigation, dental board actions and peer review proceedings.
Currently, he is the Dental Risk Solutions Lead for MedPro Group, and Head of its Dental Advisory Board.
Outside of professional life, he is a Flotilla Commander in the United States Coast Guard Auxiliary, and a marathoner who serves as a guide runner for Achilles International, assisting disabled runners reach their athletic goals.
